The Story of the Torah

A little word play: connecting the last words of the Torah’s five books one gets its story in a nutshell. The words: Egypt, their journeys, Sinai, Jericho, Israel. Result: We left Egypt and went on a journey to Sinai, Jericho, and arrived in Israel.

Boring! Allow me to challenge you to do the same with the literal and/or numerical meaning of the words:

  • Two Straights (380)
  • Their journeys (170)
  • Thorny (130)
  • Its Moon (224)
  • Rule like God (541)

What is your story?
